Founded in 1939, Vanguard has always been a closely-held, locally owned company. My father worked at Vanguard for forty seven years. In 1986 I left the practice of law and bought Vanguard so I could follow in my father's footsteps. Thirty-two years later, we are still motivated by the same values that have always guided the business: Provide our customers with the products they need when they need them and to provide them with uncompromising support and service. We believe our focused approach enables us to give our customers a great mix consisting of custom formulated products, customer support, on-time delivery, and technical expertise.
